inspiration
Jack Johnson. Today, he is my inspiration. I think it's partly because his music makes me think of the beach. His words are like waves that pour over me. Similarly, his words take away my stress much like when the tide comes in and goes out leaving me exhilarated and satisfied. Happy and wholesome. Just a little note.

This is so great - a wonderful space for you to vent your thoughts and ideas, and it's so interesting to read. You are a beautiful writer. It's funny that we both completed the same degree. We have more in common than we know, I think!
Can't wait to read your posts. And Jack Johnson is the greatest. Well - maybe not THE greatest, but he's pretty damn good.

ReplyDeleteI try to keep up with your blog regularly, and I can't tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts! Smart, succinct, and always fashionably entertaining. A compliment from a writer as fluid as you is always cause for a smile.
I started blogging as part of a "Multi-media Writing" seminar I took as a senior at university, and from them on, I was hooked. I think if I didn't have a place to paste these random thoughts of mine, I may just go crazy! :)
We definitely do have a lot in common, and I mean it when I say that I REALLY REALLY want to make an effort to see one another SOON. We're tentatively planning a trip to come up next summer... or we could all go to Vegas?!
